My relationship with photography is a strange one – I basically gave up back in the dark ages, when due to an unfortunate incident all my 35mm slides were destroyed when I was living in Jakarta. They meant a lot to me and with that loss I vowed I would never again look at the world through a camera lens.

So now with my new lease of life in 2012 this promise has been reassessed – I felt a strong urge to connect with my creative side, and photography is a large part of that – seeing the world through new eyes was exactly what I needed.

So I invested in a new Nikon – which I love – and will share my work across the spectrum of my interests to the very best of my ability.
